About me

I love my garden & share it will some wild visitors who drop by to enjoy this tiny space. I have gardened for more years than I care to say, but I still regard myself as a learner gardener. There is always something to do in my garden, tiny though it may be. There is also always something to see – you simply have to linger & look at the finer detail.

My aim is to write something for each day – it may just be a few lines… we shall see. And along the way I hope to share a photograph or two from some of the special moments that I have enjoyed & captured on camera.

In the past I have shared my thoughts by writing for local newsletters & contributed to a magazine, but this blog is inspired by the 30 Days Wild.

Writing each day can become a chore, expected, so these posts will simply be when I feel inspired to share. This may be daily, or at random, but it is intended to be a record of moments that I have connected with gardens, nature.

As time has passed I have neglected writing my rambling thoughts. However I am now inspired by a little book about a local town, & my intention is to record snippets that I have discovered, in words & pictures thanks to this gem.
